Parents We Need YOU! Yes...you Want to know how you can help? Of course you do because you are the most amazing, involved, terrific and fantastic group of parents at LVA (and yes, other departments are jealous). What do we need? 1) Individually wrapped bake goods to sell at concerts. They can be dropped off anytime prior to the concert. (We won't tell a soul if Walmart makes them) 2) Goods/Stuff that can be draffled off at the Winter concert on December 1st. If you think it's pretty cool, someone else will too. Think theme baskets, tickets to shows, hotel rooms, unique items, not so unique items, we can use anything you bring. Get donations from businesses. It's tax deductible. A request letter can be found at the bottom of this page. 3) Financial assistance of any kind. We love money. Any donations that need to be tax deductable can be made to LVA in care of the band department. A request letter can be found at the bottom of this page. 1) Parent lifesavers are needed at every concert for the following jobs: concessions(2), chaperons (6) and ushers (2). We will make sure you don't miss your child's performance so no worries there. Ideally, chaperons will have students in the same band they are chaperoning. Ushers need to be V3 parents only so you don't miss a performance. 2) Parent lifesavers are sometimes needed to chaperon special trips. We will post those as needed. If you would like to be a parent lifesaver, just email us and we will sign you up. A volunteer chart is posted below. If for some reason you cannot help on the night you are scheduled, please call one of us so we can shuffle things around.
